I am not Winnie the Pooh and though I try not to eat after 6 p.m., I don't always manage it. When do parents have free time for themselves? Certainly not before 6 p.m. There is also a risk that a romantic, nice and tasty supper will end up in a different tummy than the one for which it was meant.

Whatever time we eat, I try to prepare a light supper. Salads are the best in this situation. Sometimes however I would like to eat something else, so I choose roulades. They look very spectacular and you can make the filling with anything you like. Below you will find my proposal, but treat it more like inspiration than an exact recipe.

Salmon rolls:
slices of smoked salmon
goat's cottage cheese
horseradish
chives

Put the slices of smoked salmon on a plastic wrap to create a rectangle. Spread the slices with cottage cheese. Put some of the horseradish and chives along one of the edges of the rectangle. Roll up the salmon starting from the edge with horseradish.

In winter after a frosty and snowy walk, everybody would like to eat something hot and nutritious. If, additionally, two young children overloaded with energy have worn you out tobogganing up and down a snowy hill, you will have to top up the burned calories. Today I would like to share with you a recipe for a quick and easy creamy cheese soup. It is ideal when cooking isn't your desired way of spending your spare time.

The main ingredients of this soup are processed cheeses. You may use your favourite ones. The best are additive-free cheeses, without ham or mushrooms if you do not care for some untypical ingredients swimming in the soup. My favourite one is named "Golden Emmenthal". It has an intense taste and goes well with garlic croutons.

Ingredients:
300g of processed cheeses
1 stock cube
1 big onion
4 cloves of garlic
half a loaf of brown bread
2 tablespoons of butter
1 spring onion

Today I would like to propose a unique trip in the company of Reese Witherspoon. The actress creates the mature role of Cheryl trying in an unusual way to piece back together her ruined life in the movie "Wild" (2014) by Jean-Marc Vallée.

This slightly built girl in dinky shoes with a huge backpack wanders 1.5 thousand kilometres on the touristic path called the Pacific Crest Trail. She is at the same time fragile and strong, naive and determined in reaching her goal. By watching short reminiscences, we learn step-by-step about her life and her reasons for taking this exhausting trip in hunger, uncertainty, cold and heat, with only wild animals and insects for companions. Thanks to this, the movie is an emotional patchwork, jumping between touching flashbacks and her struggle with nature and her own weaknesses.

Every one of us has something stable in his life, a kind of pillar of strength, which is the ground on which we build our world. For one person it is family and friends, and for others it is work or a hobby. It is not difficult to imagine what may happen when such element disappears. After her mother's death (Laura Dern) the heroin of "Wild" has no point of reference, her life is torn apart and she is distracted by minor issues. The exile should be a kind of penance, a trial to reach acceptance of herself, to deal with the trauma after her mother's death and preparation for her future life.
