Holidays like Halloween or Valentine's Day need not exist for me. But because we try to celebrate family moments, these days are an occasion for us to spend time together and to eat something delicious. I associate Halloween and fall with pumpkins, so today I prepared a recipe for a quick and delicious pumpkin cake with a lot of deliciousness inside. The cake is scary for one reason (apart from decoration). It is really hard to resist taking another piece.

270g of pumpkin purée
250g of flour
50g of brown sugar
125ml of oil
60ml of milk
2 tablespoons of cider vinegar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
½ teaspoon of baking soda
2 teaspoons of gingerbread spice
100g of chopped dark chocolate
75g of chopped nuts
100g of dried cranberries or raisins
a pinch of salt


In the summer, everything for me is with strawberries. Salads, desserts and for dinner of course spaghetti or rice with strawberry mousse. We have to make good use of good things. The strawberry season will be ending soon. Today I offer a strawberry version of a dessert with chia seeds. This time I didn't add coconut milk and yoghurt to the chia seeds. Chia filled out only with strawberry mousse. Greek yoghurt without sugar was the finishing touch. It made a perfect meal: light, healthy and very delicious. Prepare it in the morning, because chia needs some time to fill out. It will be perfect for afternoon tea or dessert after lunch.

1 kg of strawberries
2-3 tablespoons of bright honey
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
3-4 tablespoons of chia seeds
150g of Greek yoghurt


The original recipe for white gazpacho, also known as gazpacho blanco or ajo blanco, comes from ancient Rome. Today it is incredibly popular in Andalucia and Estremadura. The ingredients for it are not expensive and are generally available. You only need almonds, white bread, garlic and olive oil. Ajo blanco is usually served with green grapes or melon balls, but despite this it isn't a sweet dish. Even though the ingredients are associated with hot summer days, I recommend gazpacho blanco as a snack before your main dish or light dinner. This original dish looks amazing and it tastes perfect. Try it yourself.

Ingredients (for 2 people):
50g of white bread
2 cloves of garlic
50g of blanched almonds
500ml of water
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of lemon juice


Lately we have been adding lots of noodles and pasta to our dishes. We all like it, so the range of lunch options is huge. Today I have a variation of Polish gnocchi. In Italy I ate them many times with delicious homemade tomato sauce. And basil, a bit of olive oil and Italian sun... I can't wait for another holiday. Round, delicate noodles, sometimes with channels in which the sauce stays; they look amazing and taste even better. Only common sense stops us from having another helping. And you? Could you resist this dish? For sure I will prepare it again soon. I will tell you in secret that if you don't have time to prepare your own gnocchi, use ready made ones. They are really good.

1 kg of potatoes
130g of flour
1 egg
1 clove of garlic
1 small shallot
100g of smoked bacon
200ml of 30% sweet cream
a pinch of saffron
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons of chopped chives
