Sometimes unusual combinations are surprisingly yummy. Such was the case with the soup I recently prepared. The combination of cauliflower and tomatoes I have only eaten in salads. Today I prepared soup with roast cauliflower, pepper and cherry tomatoes. I used colourful tomatoes and very ripe pepper, thanks to which my soup had an intense colour. The light, smooth peanut cream was an interesting ingredient. Try for yourselves this non-obvious combination. You can make something yummy!

Ingredients:
half a cauliflower
200g of cherry tomatoes
1 big red pepper
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of sweet paprika
a pinch of cumin
1 litre of vegetable bullion
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
half a teaspoon of maple syrup
a pinch of salt

We start to celebrate Shrovetide from Fat Thursday. Tuesday - known in Poland as "herring day" - is the last day of Shrovetide and carnival. It is a day on which we can have a royal time before Lent. In Poland the name of this day comes from one of the Lent dishes – herrings.

Today I would like to share with you the recipe for a dish with herrings – it is a recipe for anyone who likes herrings as much as we do. You can prepare mini shortbread bowls for "herring day" or any other day. You could also use the idea for the stuffing as a salad. Use as many ingredients as you need for your meal.

Ingredients:
version 1
apple
fennel
chives
French mustard
honey
herrings in oil
Dice the apple and fennel. Mix them with the chopped chives. Spice it up with the French mustard and honey. Stir. Cut the herrings into small pieces. Put the salad on the bottom of some shortbread bowls. Put the herring pieces on top.

I prepared chocolate millet groats pudding with nut cream and fruit for dessert after our Valentine's Day dinner. You can also prepare it without any special reason. It is so yummy. You can eat it hot – as I like the most, but it is also excellent cool. It combines all flavours and textures. It is a bit sweet, salty, sour, equally soft and velvety and crunchy, and it looks amazing. My children asked me if Valentine's Day could be every second day. I had to promise that I'd prepare this dessert again in a few days.

Ingredients:
400ml of milk
4 tablespoons of millet groats flakes
1 big tablespoon of cocoa
5 tablespoons of maple syrup
2 big tablespoons of peanut butter
hot water
a pinch of salt
blueberries
pomegranate
