Rolled oats are a staple product in my home so when I found a recipe for an oat cake I was very interested. The combination of chocolate and nuts is one of my favourites. You add a little flour and not much sugar to this cake. This is what’s so good about it.
This recipe comes from www.asiawkuchni.blog.onet.pl.
Ingredients:
250g of rolled oats
80g of flour
3 eggs
400ml of milk
220g of brown sugar
120g of butter
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of baking powder
150g of walnuts
1 chocolate bar
Add hot milk to the rolled oats and leave the mixture for 10 minutes. Add half of the sugar and butter and mix them until they have both dissolved. Leave to cool down. Whisk the eggs with the rest of the sugar, add the cooled rolled oats and stir the mixture. Add flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Mix again. Chop up the nuts and chocolate and add 2/3 of nuts to the egg-oat mixture. Smooth a cake tin with fat and sprinkle with breadcrumbs or flour. Pour the dough onto the tin and besprinkle with the rest of the nuts. Bake it for 45 minutes at 180 degrees C.
Enjoy your meal!
