Six o’clock in the morning, the alarm clock is ringing. You have the temptation to throw it against the wall. Yesterday you read a book until two o’clock in the morning. After four hours’ sleep you think what an idiot you are. In the night you decided “only one more chapter” and then eleven times the same thing. Despite how warm the duvet is and how comfy your pillow is you have to wake up. Suddenly it hits you! The morning coffee. If only you can reach the coffeemaker without tripping over your own legs. The first sip of the flavoured drink and you are back to life.

Last weekend I saw another movie in which the story is based on music. “The song” (2014) by Richard Ramsey is a story about a novice musician: a talented singer and guitarist who fights to disengage himself from the legend of his father.

Sometimes I’m afraid to read especially elaborate detective stories. I don’t fear that something will jump out of the book. That was only possible in “Bolek and Lolek” cartoons. There a pirate jumps out from the story book and waves a cutlass. Firstly, I’m afraid of the writer of the crime story. I wonder what kind of imagination he must have to create something awful like this. The second thing I’m afraid of is that the unbalanced person might want to realize the ideas from the book.

What is the most dangerous city in Poland? According to the latest serials and books, it is Sandomierz. This underrated pearl of architecture is situated on seven hills, so is called “little Rome”. The Sandomierz police can boast 100% efficiency at catching criminals. It is interesting whether it is in fact like this in real life when a priest-detective and white-haired genius of criminology don’t support the police.
