The season for sleepy mornings is open. Today I tried to prepare breakfast porridge and morning coffee. I must have been very sleepy because I put the first teaspoon of instant coffee into the porridge instead of to my favourite cup. My first idea was to throw out the porridge but I decided to try it. Milk and coffee make a great couple, don't they? I discovered that coffee porridge is excellent. I don't know if my mornings will always be just as sleepy, but I will make coffee porridge more than once.

Ingredients (for 1 person)
250 ml of milk
4-5 teaspoons of oatmeal
2 teaspoons of instant coffee
3-4 tablespoons of maple syrup
fruit

Focaccia is a kind of bread which may be a solo dish or, for example, a pizza base. Depending on the part of Italy you visit, you can get different focaccia: with rosemary, tomatoes (fresh or dried), olives or salt. I like fresh hot focaccia with rosemary, cherry tomatoes and black olives. I like to dip it in olive oil. I need a glass of my favourite wine and the beginning of a nice evening is ready.

Ingredients:
250 g of flour
125ml of warm water
4 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of sugar
2 teaspoons of salt
5 g of instant yeast
a few sliced black olives
a few cherry tomatoes
2 twigs of rosemary

On hot summer days turning on the oven should be forbidden. Baking ordinary, delicious muffins, which everyone loves, could even cause heat stroke. Sometimes, even on hot days we want to eat something sweet and chocolatey. An excellent solution in this situation is muffins in a mug, baked in the microwave. The preparation and baking last only 5 minutes. These cookies are great as a first dessert for children who are starting to learn how to cook. The only task you have to help them with is taking the mug out of the microwave. I used raspberries for my dessert, because I like the combination of dark chocolate and raspberries. In the autumn I will make muffins with plums.

Ingredients:
4 pieces of dark chocolate
3 tablespoons of flour
5 teaspoons of brown sugar
2 tablespoons of cocoa
20g of butter
30ml of milk
1/3 teaspoon of baking powder
raspberries

Apart from ecological matters, there is another reason why I don't buy chocolate cream Nutella. I love it and I'm able to eat any amount of it. I know it is so sweet, and I shouldn't do this, but it is beyond my control. When the jar is open, I have to eat Nutella. So I don't buy it. If I don't have Nutella, I can't eat it.

This year during the holiday I made a mistake and I bought some jam with peaches and chocolate. It tasted just like Nutella. Unfortunately, the ingredients of the little treat were strange, so I decided to prepare fruit jam with chocolate in my kitchen. I swapped peaches for plums, because I thought that the jam would be less sweet. If you would like to make a drier taste, you need to add a bit of bitter cocoa. If you buy less sweet plums, add a bit more sugar. Try it yourself. As a precaution I made only a small portion. Mrugnięcie

Ingredients:
0.5 kg of plums
4 tablespoons of brown sugar
a pinch of cinnamon
40g of milk chocolate
60g of dark chocolate

I guess my son is growing up. Until now he has complained at mealtimes: it's too sweet, too salty, too hot, too orange, too ... Always something was "too". Recently, he has fussed a bit less. I don't miss it, but it feels weird when my son is happy to eat his dinner and even has some more. It warms my heart.

It sounds like a fairy tale, but it was true when I prepared tomato risotto for dinner. It was really yummy.
