Crumble is simply fruit under a topping. You may use almost any fruit and depending on the season you can have a yummy dessert or a dish for afternoon tea. You have to be careful with the temperature of the dish. The cool crumble topping may conceal very hot fruit lava.

Now we are in the middle of the season for peaches, nectarines and apricots. I served it with vanilla yoghurt sauce, but it is also excellent without it.

Ingredients
110g of rolled oats
1 tablespoon of maple syrup
4 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
2 tablespoons of desiccated coconut
3 tablespoons of butter
4 peaches
a bit of cinnamon

I like cream cakes. They are uncomplicated and swift. Maybe they aren't as glamourous as a birthday cake, but sometimes we need something ordinary, in the best sense of the word, and simply yummy.

You can use all kinds of fruit for these cakes. They make the cake moist, fluffy inside and crunchy on the top. This time I added blueberries and strawberries. It can also be a great way to use up slightly overripe fruit that we don't want to throw away. They go really well in this cake.

Ingredients (20-cm cake tin):
320g of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
half a teaspoon of baking soda
120g of sugar
1250 ml of oil
300ml of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
3 tablespoons of lemon peel
16 small strawberries
2 fistfuls of blueberries
caster sugar

I have been a housewife for many years. I like it. I'm not bored and the ironing is the only chore which I hate. Recently, my daughter has been helping me out me with it. So I sit down silently, enjoy my escape from the ironing and I pray she doesn't change her mind Mrugnięcie

Sometimes I have one of those days when nothing goes right. Today I started from dessert, which broke down before I really started preparing it. I felt that I shouldn't do any serious housework. On such days I can burn even the water for the tea. I was desperate and I looked for a very easy dessert so as not to mess it up. I found it at www.mojewypieki.com. This dessert was the only thing which went well. Even though these cookies with French pastry look inconspicuous, they are excellent. Thin, light, crunchy and not too sweet. You have to try them.

Ingredients (8 cookies)
1 pack of French pastry
8 teaspoons of apricot jam
10-12 strawberries
1 tablespoon of milk
chocolate drops
caster sugar

Today I prepared strawberry tapioca pudding with white chocolate. The beginning of the holiday was excellent, because my children love tapioca pudding. I have already prepared many versions of this dessert: vanilla, coconut, and chocolate. Every time it is really great. Many types of fruit go well with this dessert, but especially slightly sour ones.

Ingredients:
60g of tapioca
420ml of milk (any kind of milk)
half a teaspoon of vanilla essence
50g of white chocolate
500g of strawberries

Muffins are the nicest cakes. Everybody likes them, especially children. They are excellent for lunch, afternoon tea or for a school integration party. You can bake them all year round. In the summer you should have them with fresh fruit. In the winter add spices. They will warm you up with a nice Christmas fragrance. Muffins also have other advantages. They are swift: a few uncomplicated ingredients, which you only need to stir and put in the oven. We like cake like that, don't we? The only problem is whether to make a double serving at once?

A few days ago I bought some apricots and peaches. Although they look nice, they are sour and my children didn't want to eat them. Fruit are excellent ingredients of muffins. The muffins were moist and nicely sweet-and-sour. They were great in the warm summer afternoon.
