When I was a child, the most often served dessert or afternoon tea was kissel with thickly grated apples. Back then I didn't like it, but today it came back to me it and I wanted to check if my not liking it was just the result of a childish conceit. It turned out that kissel was perfect and my children said that they don't understand my animosity. Well, maybe my taste changed? I am glad that my children liked apple kissel, because it was an easy and delicious dessert.

Ingredients:
500ml of apple juice
3 teaspoons of potato flour
2 tablespoons of maple syrup
1 big apple
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
fruit for decoration

Grate the apple on a coarse grater. Add the lemon juice and mix it in. Boil 400ml of apple juice and maple syrup. Mix the potato flour with the rest of the apple juice and add it to the boiling juice, stirring constantly. Boil for a while. Leave to cool down for a few minutes. Add the grated apple and mix it in. Pour the kissel into some bowls. Decorate with some fruit and natural yoghurt.

Enjoy your meal!
