Alcoholic drinks definitely taste better with friends. We like beer during barbecues with the family, and we drink wine with our friends on holiday. After all, holidays are not only for children. After a day full of sightseeing and sunbathing, we usually drink local wine or we prepare holiday drinks.

In Italy we prepared drinks with our beloved Aperol. It could be classical Aperol Spritz, but you can also add it to other fruit drinks. Today I would like to share with you the recipe for a light holiday drink. I made it up as I went along, so I will just give you the ingredients without ratios. Add as many ingredients as you need for it to be as strong and sweet as you like. I usually add very cold watermelon to this drink. I don't like ice cubes because they thin the drink. You can add frozen pieces of orange or frozen grapes to cool down your drink.

Ingredients:
watermelon (without the skin and stones)
Aperol
lemon juice
orange juice
sparkling water (or other drink with gas)

Mexican chili con carne isn't a light and dietetic dish. But after groats, salads and porridge my family demands something unhealthy. In order to stave off a rebellion against healthy food, I sometimes give in and serve something like hot dogs, hamburgers or pizza. Today I chose chili con carne, but in my version I added thin, sliced sausages instead of minced meat. Baked circles of tortilla are an excellent ingredient of this yummy dinner. All appetites were satisfied, so tomorrow we will go back to rolled oats and kale crisps Mrugnięcie.

Ingredients
1 tin of tomatoes
1 small chili pepper
2 cloves of garlic
1 onion
1 tablespoon of butter
2 sprigs of rosemary
400g of thin sausages
1 tin of red beans
1 tin of sweetcorn
salt and pepper
grated cheese

Did you like playing with play-doh as a child? Today while preparing small balls with chickpeas I remembered this pastime. I liked to make small animals and stick figures the most. Then when I bought some modelling clay, I hardened them in the oven and gave them to anybody who was interested in them. I think that my grandma had the biggest collection.

Today I played like a child with a very nice and smooth chickpea mixture. The small balls are not too sweet, slightly chocolatey and healthy, so everybody can eat them. I like healthy sweets which I can eat without any remorse.

The recipe comes from the book „Jeść zdrowiej" (Eat more healthy).

Ingredients:
200g of tinned chickpeas
2 tablespoons of cocoa
5-6 tablespoons of maple syrup
60g of coconut oil
for decoration: cocoa, finely chopped nuts

During the school year, every housewife has her own way to deal with the morning quickly, to make breakfast which doesn't take up too much time and which fills small bellies in an efficient and yummy way, allowing them to work for half a day. During the holiday things are different. We can be creative with the contents of the fridge and the question of who wants what for breakfast. But we should be careful with this question, and I think most parents know that. Maybe everybody wants something different, but the contents of the fridge aren't up to the job.

Today I would like to share with you the recipe for one of the best holiday breakfasts. I recommend buckwheat omelette, which without sophisticated ingredients is very tasty. You can enrich it with your favourite ingredients. Wee added ham, fresh pepper, chili pepper and onion.

Ingredients
3 eggs
50g of cooked buckwheat groats
half a red pepper
half a small onion
half a chili pepper
1 teaspoon of butter
3 big slices of ham
1 sprig of rosemary
oil for frying
salt and pepper

For my family waffles are a symbol of the summer. During seaside holidays they are a permanent fixture of our afternoon walks. Everybody likes their waffles with different ingredients: with whipped cream, fruit, icing, caster sugar; it's important that the waffles are crunchy and fresh.

There are a few weeks to our seaside holiday, so for the beginning of summer I prepared chocolate waffles at home. I served them with vanilla cream cheese, fresh fruit and chocolate icing. They were excellent. I recommend them!

Ingredients:
200g of butter
200g of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
2 tablespoons of cocoa
3 eggs
400g of flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
