Today I offer you a very autumnal cake with pears and lots of caramel. Some people call it tartini tart or upside down tart, but it doesn't matter what we call it, because it will still taste amazing. Thin cake, fresh and crispy pears and everything put in a golden caramel sauce. If before serving it you sprinkle the cake with a bit of lemon juice and add vanilla ice cream or a spoonful of yogurt you will get a dessert fit for a king.

Ingredients:
dough
160g of flour
1 tablespoon of sugar
120g of butter
a pinch of salt
75ml of very cold water
Chop the butter with the rest of the dough ingredients. Add the cold water little by little and quickly knead into a smooth dough. Cover the dough in plastic wrap and leave in the fridge for an hour.

I haven't made muffins for a long time, even though my children and I really like them. The best are probably with fresh fruit. They are moist inside, crunchy on the outside. It's nice to pack a small surprise for school. This is what I did with the last two cupcakes which were left over after Sunday dessert. Vanilla muffins with red currants, white chocolate and macadamia nuts were a delicious bonus to vegetables, fruit and tortilla with ham. My children's smile was the best reward.

Ingredients:
250g of flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
150g of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
250ml of milk
60ml of oil
1 egg
2 fistfuls of red currants
2 fistfuls of macadamia nuts
12 pieces of white chocolate
a pinch of salt

Autumn is coming really quickly and with it the moment I hate – the clocks changing to winter time. This situation ruins my mood before and long afterwards. In the 21st century changing the time makes no sense, so I am waiting for the year when the last week of October won't be associated with longer nights and stealing one hour from the already shortening daytime. Because the media is already telling me that in one month we have to change the time, I decided to cheer myself up and prepare delicious autumn rolls with plums and chocolate. This time I didn't use crumple topping. I decided to decorate them with white chocolate and crumbled pistachios. These subtle in taste, not-so-sweet striped rolls remind me of Tigger from the Winnie the Pooh movies, and they always make me smile.

Ingredients (8 buns)
dough
250g of flour
7g of dry yeast
1 egg
75g of sugar
125ml of milk
40g of butter
a pinch of salt
filling
4 big plums
8 teaspoons of plum stew
8 pieces of white chocolate
white chocolate and pistachios for decorating

Making use of the last days of the strawberry season, I prepared a quick lemon cake with this fruit. The weekend can't be without any dessert, and there is nothing better than fresh homemade cake that smells wonderful and you want to eat it all at once. Sometimes I have to make an effort to hide it from the dessert monsters in my house, to make sure they will eat it for dessert and not as a main course. It is a pity that the season for fresh fruit is ending. We have to wait another few months for more gifts from our gardens.

Ingredients:
210g of flour
120g of brown sugar
80ml of oil
250ml of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of lemon peel
1 teaspoon of baking powder
a couple of strawberries
caster sugar

In the summer the ripe fruit on the trees is begging to be picked and eaten. It is full of sun and tastes so excellent that I'm sorry the season for fresh fruit is so short in Poland. It is impossible to try everything, and frozen fruit isn't nearly so yummy. That was my reflection when I recently bought some fruit at the market. The season for fruit changes fast. Recently I bought strawberries and cherries. I hadn't had time to get enough of them before apricots and peaches appeared, and in a few days I will buy plums, apples and pears. And then I will have to wait another year for the first strawberries, raspberries and wild strawberries. Today I would like to share with you the recipe for striped cake with beautiful, sweet apricots. It looks as great as it tastes.

Ingredients:
210g of flour
120g of brown sugar
80ml of oil
250ml of milk
1 tablespoon of cocoa
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 tablespoon of apple vinegar
a couple of apricots
